THIS COMING SATURDAY AT HMML! THEATER IN THE REDWOODS!!! Do not miss this rare theater performance devoted to one of Big Sur’s most brilliant and iconoclastic artists!!! May 19th at 8 pm: Through the craft of Peter Thabit Jones comes “The Fire in the Wood,” a drama about sculptor Edmund Kara, his relationship to his art and to the dramatic Big Sur coast. Edmund, the sculptor of the Phoenix Bird at Nepenthe and the bust of Elizabeth Taylor for the movie “The Sandpiper,” turned his back on fame and fortune, devoting himself instead to what his soul might release into powerful archetypes from the massive shapes of wood that presented themselves to him….

This coming May 20th at the Library (((folkYEAH!))) Presents JAY FARRAR DUO (Son Volt) Outdoor Show! Gates 6:30/Show 7:30 ALL AGES
