On Sunday, March 24th, 2019, City Lights Booksellers & Publisherswill celebrate the life and legacy of our founder Lawrence Ferlinghetti who turns 100 that day.

The public is invited to an open house birthday party at City Lights Bookstore from 1-5 pm.

Throughout the month of March, it’ll be commemorating Ferlinghetti’s milestone with events at City Lights Bookstore and partner institutions, including the San Francisco Public Library, the Roxie Theater, and the Rena Bransten Gallery.
